EQ Labs, Inc. Expands and Opens Florida Office

 

EQ Labs, Inc. announced the opening of a new office in Palm Harbor, FL. EQ Labs, Inc.'s relationship with Florida extends back over two years, when EQ Smart Energy Drink was the energy drink sponsor of the WFCMMA Cage Wars. At that time, the Clear Cut Group, Inc. served as distributors for the Company and aggressively promoted the product throughout Florida in addition to contiguous states. Given the product's success there, the Company decided to open an office in Palm Harbor that will serve as its East Coast office with responsibilities for recruiting and supervising sales and support personnel; establishing and oversight of additional satellite offices; participation in trade shows and other promotional events. "The Company’s goal is to expand its presence in the eastern half of the U.S.," stated Lonnie Snow, who will manage the Palm Harbor office and its East Coast operations. "Given the fact we are in the same time zone (here in Florida), we hope to reduce the response time, but more importantly, EQ can more efficiently cultivate and service accounts in this part of the country. The product is already being well received here in this region of the country and we want to build on that success," he added.

 

 

EQLB Releases Letter to Shareholders

 

EQ Labs, Inc. announced today that on Saturday, August 29, 2009, the Company held its first public stockholders' meeting at its headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada with Maurice "Mo" Owens, the Company's Chairman of the Board and CEO presiding. The Board of Directors of EQ Labs is pleased to announce that all of the recommendations of the Board and the resolutions placed before the shareholders were approved during the shareholder meeting.

Investors traveled from throughout the United States to attend the Company's first annual shareholder meeting and an equally significant number of investors were able to participate in the event online.

One of the most noteworthy highlights of the meeting was Owens' overview of the Company's research and development activities which have developed three new flavors of the EQ Smart Energy Drink tablets: Strawberry Dream, Mo Apple, and Lemon Lime. These new flavors, when combined with water or another beverage of choice, taste more like fruit drinks and are in no way similar in taste to other energy drinks already on the market.

"With a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of less than one dollar per tablet, we expect these exciting new flavors to fare very well with consumers," Owens commented. "The fact of the matter is, these new flavors came out over a month ago and were immediately marketed to our current distributors and wholesalers (collectively representing over 100,000 points of sale), who have responded very positively."

"The next phase of this marketing initiative will entail expanding the demand for these effervescent tablets with new consumer oriented retail organizations so that they too might 'think outside the can' and appreciate the impact, unique characteristics of this product, and income potential," Owens concluded.

 

 

EQ Smart Energy Drink Adds Three New Flavors & Goes Green

EQ Smart Energy Drink®, is undergoing some significant changes. Three new flavors of the effervescent energy tablet have been developed and will soon be introduced; and, the Company is “going green.”

“When you compare the taste of most energy drinks in cans, they all essentially have the same flavor,” stated Mo Owens, EQ Labs, Inc.’s CEO. “Given the fact that our product is different in application, we decided to exploit its uniqueness by providing additional options for consumers,” he said.

“Soon, consumers will find they are not restricted to one single flavor, but instead, a total of 4 choices. There will be the original flavor that has already been widely accepted because of its appealing taste, but soon, they will also be able to choose either strawberry, apple (called Mo’s Apple), and lemon lime,” claimed Owens.

Regarding green packaging, Marvin Cole, EQ Labs, Inc.’s VP of Distribution, commented, “We collaborated with the manufacturers of our packaging to develop individual packets and tubes that are environmentally friendly. Thus, in the near future, all EQ products will be sold in green (biodegradable) packaging. We have always felt some sense of social responsibility, as evidenced by our participation in and sponsorship of charitable events. The green packaging will complement the integrity of the product and convey the message that we are committed to doing our part to promote a healthier environment.”

   

EQ Smart Energy Drink to Be Energy Drink Sponsor for Celebrity Golf Tournament

EQ Labs, Inc. will be the Energy Drink Sponsor of the 9th Annual Derrick Brooks Celebrity Classic to raise funds to support the goals of Derrick Brooks Charities, Inc., a Tampa area foundation that has been nationally recognized for its work in behalf of the fragile and impressionable lives of children.

“EQ Smart Energy Drink® is participating this year because of the product’s growing presence in the Florida market,” stated Mo Owens, the Company’s CEO. “We were happy to accept an invitation to join other corporate sponsors who have made a commitment to positively impact the quality of life for children throughout the state of Florida,” continued Owens. “Given the conditions of economies at local, state, and national levels, it’s essential for companies to give back to the communities where they conduct business,” he said.

Celebrities from sports, entertainment, and other fields will be paired with 4 other golfers. This year’s tournament will consist of over 100 golfers. The 2-day event will consist of the pairings party and receptions on June 7, 2009 and the tournament and awards luncheon on the following day (with plenty of free EQ for everyone). According to the Derrick Brooks Charities, Inc., over 1,000 people have already confirmed their attendance at these events.

 

EQ Smart Energy Brand Goes International

EQ Labs, Inc. announced today that it has been approved for consumption in Mexico by the Ministry of Health in that country and has received its formal product registration in the Republic of Brazil.

“We have representatives working with major food distributors in both countries. These distributors have been very successful importing and distributing unique beverage products from the U.S., so we are very optimistic about these new distribution opportunities,” stated Bob Fain, the COO of EQ Labs, Inc. “The addition of these two countries, combined with our growing base of U.S. accounts, is reflective of the vision and commitment we have to our long-term marketing goals and objectives. In the near future, we hope to be able to announce similar distributor relationships in a few European countries; however, what we are learning from country to country is that a one-size-fits-all approach is no guarantee of success. The market mix must be tailored to each country,” Bob continued.

Although the company is encouraged by these recent international developments, it continues to aggressively promote this unique product in its own back yard. According to Joshua Segal, the Manager of Publicity & Promotions at EQ Labs, Inc., “There is no question that EQ has a significant presence in the local market. This is due in part to special promotional events that we sponsor or co-sponsor on a continuous basis. There is a direct correlation between our participation in these local promotional events and increased sales in convenience stores located in the Las Vegas Valley. We are confident our upcoming TV (local, national, and international) commercials will also enhance our presence domestically, not to mention that a number of international visitors coming to Las Vegas are being introduced to the EQ brand as well,” Segal enthusiastically explained.
